This stunning early 1900's chandelier is fresh from a local estate. It is made of beautiful high-detail cast spelter with steel chains, all plated with either silver or nickel. It has been given new mounting hardware for easy installation, coated with a fresh layer of lacquer to seal and protect the beautiful finish, and rewired with modern electrical sockets. Now it is ready for a new home!  As you can see, this fixture is in very good shape for its age, with some light overall surface wear including some scuffs, scratches, oxidation spots, and minor wear to the plating. The shades are in good shape as well, with a few tiny fleabite nicks to the edges, but no cracks or chips. The shades are made of manganese glass (manufactured pre-1915) and have developed a faint purple tint from many years of indirect sunlight exposure. The color is not particularly noticeable while the shades are lit. Including the shades, this fixture hangs a total of about 20" and measures about 19.5" across. Shipped with great care. Please see all photos.

I am always available to answer questions about my items, shipment methods, or anything else. Please note, however, that I ask that any special requests (alternate shipping arrangements, alternate methods of payment, international customs matters, etc.) are inquired about before purchase. Payment is expected within 3 days after end of auction, immediately with Buy It Now, and within 24 hours if a "Buy It Now" offer is accepted.

I take great care in shipping and make sure that items are properly cushioned and immobilized. Unless otherwise stated, shipping is normally within 3 business days of receiving payment, often sooner. Shipping will be combined if possible to save you on shipping costs.

I try to describe and photograph items comprehensively, but returns are gladly accepted on any item that is not as described (as long as it is in the same condition as when it was sent out). I consider the photos in my listings to be part of the description. If you wish to make such a return, you must send a message to me within 5 days of your receipt of the item. Please note that I take the 5 days after receipt of your item seriously-- please do your part by opening your package upon arrival and checking the contents, then letting me know right away if there is a problem. The buyer pays the return postage for any returns. Returns will not be accepted for any other reason.
