This is a previously-owned, "Moon Man Muddy" bobblehead manufactured in 2016. It measures approximately seven inches tall.
On June 16, 2016, the Mud Hens celebrated the 35th Anniversary of MTV as part of the "Throwback Thursday Night" series. As a result, Subway gave a limited-edition 'Moon Man Muddy' bobblehead the first 1,980 fans entering Fifth Third Field. The night featured clips and music videos celebrating music of the past.
The Toledo Mud Hens Baseball Club is the Triple-A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers. The mascot's name is Muddy. The Mud Hens first year of baseball dates back to 1896, and many famous individuals have played for Toledo over the years (Jim Thorpe, Casey Stengel, Kirby Puckett, Kirk Gibson). The Mud Hens were made "world famous" when Toledo native Jamie Farr appeared on the hit TV show M*A*S*H wearing a Mud Hens jersey
