Charles Wycuff wrote these dynamic
lyrics and The Inspirations picked them
for the title cut on this, their latest
album. This is one of the most sensitive
and marvelous songs to be written in a
long time. It is reverent, beautifully put-
ting the emphasis on God’s salvation
message.
Concert audiences have been respond-
ing exceedingly well to the freshness and
sparkle of “Victory Is Sweet.” This re-
markable number adds much to the
strength of the album with its creative
lyrics and melody. The Inspirations chose
two other up-tempo songs, “What a Meet-
ing in the Air” and “Wings of Love.” We
predict you will be requesting these often.
Anytime The Inspirations of Bryson
City, North Carolina, enter the recording
studio they are thoroughly prepared for
the session. They love gospel music and
present it with mountain flair and style.
They chose a collection of rewarding
songs to bless us, sensitive and dynamic.
One of the charming attributes of these
committed young artists is the loyal sup-
port each affords the other and the entire
group when they work, either in a studio
or on a concert platform. They are true
brothers on and off the stage.
A quiet strength in their Christian
faith is very apparent to those fortunate
enough to see and hear them in person.
They are relaxed, uncomplicated people,
striving daily to follow in the footsteps
of the great Fisherman. Their deep faith
has been a constant comfort and guid-
ance ever since they were children. They
were reared in deeply consecrated Chris-
tian homes by their mountain parents
who brought them up depending daily
on the grace and love of God.
Martin Cook is deeply devoted to these
talented young Christians. He is pianist,
counselor, manager and friend to tenor
Archie Watkins, lead singer Troy Burns,
baritone Jack Laws and bass Mike Hol-
comb. He is happy to have his son Myron
traveling and playing bass for the group.
We invite you to enjoy the rich heritage
of Southern gospel music as offered by
The Inspirations on this new album,
“The Wonder of Wonders.” Great har-
mony is the trademark of these well
known evangelistic Christians and they
share their faith with you.
