- This product is a pre-painted and completed model. The Seibu Railway Model E61 was one of the six lorries that the Ministry of Railways imported from GE (General Electric) on a sample basis in the early days of electrification. This locomotive has a similar locomotive in the U.S. The D-D locomotive with a box cab, which was sold by Roundhouse (Model Die Casting) as a "60-ton box cab diesel locomotive," is its sibling. It boasted an output of 1000KW/h and towed cement trains to the Chichibu line more than 40 years ago. It was scrapped relatively early among the imported machines that remained until the last years of its life, but it is still preserved at the Yokoze rail yard.
