Historical review:
Ichiji Takeuchi, japanese, born in Japan in 1870, arrived to Russian far East in 1896 to
work as a professional photographer, which in Japan were then, not possible.
In the beginning worked in the fishing businesses, but in 1898 opened the photographer's
studios in Khabarovsk and Vladivostok.
In 1912 he opened the revenue house in Khabarovsk, which still exists and is known as residence
of Takeuchi.
Due to revolution in Russia, Takeuchi had to close his businesses in 1921 he returned back to Japan.
