Description:
TPA3255 is a high performance class D power amplifier, which has the D class efficiency and can bring true high end sound quality. The device specific advanced integrated feedback design and proprietary high-speed gate driver error correction function (PurePath Ultra HD). The technology allows the device to maintain ultra-low distortion throughout the audio band while displaying perfect sound quality. The device in AD mode, THD 10% can drive up to 2 315W/4R and 2 150W load (without clipping power) /8R load, and a unique 2 VRMS analog input interface, support and high performance DAC (e.g. TI PCM5242) seamless connection. In addition to its excellent audio performance, the TPA3255 also has two advantages: high power efficiency and ultra low power stage idle loss (less than 2.5W). This can be achieved by 85mR, MOSFET, and optimized grid drive scheme. Compared with the traditional discrete implementation scheme, the proposed scheme can significantly reduce the idle loss.
