LONGINES Sei Tacche Vintage Military Watchc. 1945

An attractive and well-preserved Longines Sei Tacche Military watch with an original 24 hour dial. Powered by the venerable caliber 23M, this piece is dated to1945 and invoiced to Longines-Wittnauer, the agent for USA at the time.

Case : unpolished stainless steel case measuring approximately 33.5mm (excluding crown) and 43mm from lug-to-lug with 18mm drilled lugs, screw-on caseback with Longines engraved on reverse, order number 23089 and 330 case serial matches the serial on the back of upper left lug, replacement acrylic and original crown.

Movement : Longines signed cal. 23M manual-winding movement with 17 jewels.

Dial : original patinated silver dial with with Arabic numerals in applied lume complemented by 24 hour indices in red print, outer minute track in black print, original blued steel pencil handset and sweeps seconds hand with inlaid lume. Minor scratches on dial surface as shown in images. Very fine detritus on minute hand.

Band : 16mm new old stock brown genuine leather strap.
