ITEM DESCRIPTION/CONDITION

Beautifully crafted Aizu-nuri lacquer ikebana vase, depicting bountiful autumn season with gold grape vine and sparrow. The item is pre-owned, no visible damage and minimal scratch. 

Aizu lacquerware (Aizu-nuri in Japanese) is originated and made in the Aizu region of Fukushima prefecture, started when lacquer trees were planted during the Muromachi period (1336-1573). The ware is created from sturdy wood base then coated with lacquer and finished with a final gloss coat making it water durable. The distinct character of the Aizu Lacquer is the extent usage of the auspicious motifs, which is part of the Aizu culture.

RETURN/REFUND

If you receive the item damaged or wrong item, please let us know within 30 days of arrival. We do not automatically accept request for refund so please ensure you contact us. 

CHANGE OF MIND return will only be accepted with BUYER RESPONSIBLE for return international postage and refund will only be given if the return item is in its original state.
