A vintage beaded bag that shines beautifully in the light.

This bag is made by “Hashimoto,” a long-established brand of beaded bags.

Hashimoto's beaded bags, which are hand-stitched and hand-sewn by craftsmen, were known as imperial purveyors, but unfortunately the company went out of business in 2016, and we think this item is currently hard to find.

The gorgeous design and the sparkle of the multicolored cut beads give it a presence that evokes the dignity of an adult.

It can be worn with kimonos, yukatas, and any other Japanese or Western style clothing.

The chain handle is a convenient 2-way type that can be held short as a double handle or can be used as a single handle on the shoulder.

It is a gem in very good and excellent condition.

The most enjoyable part of bead bags is hand-knitted bead embroidery. It is a gorgeous and beautiful detail that is carefully woven one by one by the hands of a few craftsmen.
