VINTAGE BRUNETTE MIDGE DOLL

This Midge doll is on the rare body with painted legs. Ponytail Barbie's were also sold with this body.

DESCRIPTION:

HAIR - Full length brunette hair with original curls. Zero hair plugs missing; no hair cut.

COMPLEXION - Midge's complexion is excellent, it has not darkened over the years, nor is there any discoloration. Three small scratches to the left of Midge's face, near her cheek.

MAKE UP - All original, full eyebrows, faint rubs to the eyes, missing dots, original lips with 20% lip rubs . Barbie has two three scratches below her left eye. Zero nose nips, zero neck splits, and zero cuts to the vinyl.

EARS - Zero piercings. Zero green ear.

ARMS - Both arms hold poses as they should.

Midge's right inner forearm has two pink stains.

HANDS - Free of wear; stain free.

TORSO - Stain free.

LEGS - This doll has the rare "painted legs". I believe Mattel was experimenting with materials and decided against this version of the Barbie/Midge body with the "painted legs". Various scratches to her legs. You can see the semi transparent material underneath the coating.

FEET - Full polish on toes. Zero pin dots. Stamped JAPAN.

SWIMSUIT - Excellent condition. Faint discoloration to the front of the pink swim top. One minor seam separation along the back center hem. The red swim bottoms are in excellent condition. No tags.
