This metal yo-yo was made by the Gorham Manufacturing Company in the
1970s. It has flat sides and a sterling silver shell. The yo-yo features

Gorham Manufacturing Company was originally founded in Rhode Island in
1831 as a sterling silver maker. It is a steel (overall material)
Condition: This has been used, has original string, I actually won a Yo-Yo contest as a 12 year old in 1950s, nothing as fancy as this. I did "try this out" and it is still so smoothed and balanced. Would never "walk the dog" with it :) This was made in 1970s by Gorham Manufacturing Company there is one in the Museum of American Culture.
