Two very old children’s plates:

The larger was made by the Brownhills Pottery Co in Staffordshire England around 1880. This 7.25” plate is marked with the pattern name “Childrens Clock” with number 253083 and the maker’s initials BP Co (Brownhill’s Pottery). This design is titled “At the Seaside”.

The smaller unmarked plate was made approx 1860 and is a Franklin Proverb plate. It measures 6” diameter. “Keep Thy Shop and Thy Shop Will Keep Thee”.

Both have condition issues. Browning, crazing and various chips. Offered together as they’ve been together for a very long time.
