This six wheeled coach is a representation of the many which served on the London and North Western Railway (LNWR) in the late 19th and early 20th century.

Small coaches such as this six wheeled coach proved especially good at branch line work where their small size enabled the traversing of tight radius curves, whilst lower passenger numbers meant their small size was more acceptable and enabled trains to be hauled by smaller engines.

This LNWR coach is modelled as having step boards to enable access at stations with low platforms and oil lamp lighting.

This model also features our new Maglight system which allows coach lights to be turned on and off using a magnetic wand, removing the need for track pick-ups which would increase rolling resistance.

As a Hobbyco customer, you are entitled to a 30 day return period from the time that the goods you ordered have been received through courier service tracking.

Delivery Policy

Applicable to physical goods.

After finalising your online order at the checkout page; you will receive an email confirmation containing your order details (sent to your provided email address). We will confirm receipt of your order as soon as possible, and then pick and pack all currently available products pertaining to your online order. All finalised orders confirmed to be dispatched from Hobbyco are then collected by Australia Post (AusPost) normally within 2-3 business days. Orders are subject to handling times of 2-10 business days depending on the peak period and current queue.

 

Availability of Product and Pre-orders

Hobbyco is primarily a “Bricks and Mortar” retailer and all products shown In-stock are based on digital inventory records. Occasionally discrepancies occur because of theft, clerical error, and/or other events beyond our control. We carry over 50,000 various products, with more being added each week, making it impossible to maintain 100% accuracy.  

 

If for reasons beyond our control; products that are not available will be highlighted, and you will be notified by the provided email and/or contact number. You may be offered an alternative product, or your account will be credited. You are entitled to request a refund instead of credit.

If for any reason you have a change of mind with your purchase or the goods you purchased are faulty or damaged during transit, you are entitled to a refund as long as the following conditions are met:

  • You MUST submit an email to info@hobbyco.com.au, or call us  within the 30-day return period, discussing the goods and order number in question, and the reason for return.
  • For damaged goods, proof must be provided (such as images of faulty parts, damaged parts and damaged packing box), and goods must be returned with postage paid.
  • For any change of mind, goods must be returned in their original condition (including the product packaging) with postage paid.
  • For Change of Mind returns, a refund will be credited to your account on receipt of the goods in good (fit for re-sell) condition, so attention to return packaging is important!

 

This refund policy does not apply to goods that have the following:

  • The goods have been used, dropped or broken after opening.
  • Any attempt to alter the goods or the same goods has been purchased from an external seller.

 

EXTERNAL WARRANTY PROCEDURE

Certain brands have an external warranty procedure, you can find them here. Hobbyco aims to assist as best we can with faulty products or repairs, however, it is recommended to check the specific brand’s website to find further information. 

 

All postage and insurance costs are to be paid by the buyer. We recommend that you return the product via Registered Post and that you pre-pay all necessary postage. You assume any risk of loss, theft or damaged goods during transit. We, therefore, advise you take opt for shipment registration & insurance with your postal carrier. Be certain to return the correct goods, otherwise, if the goods received were not as discussed, Hobbyco will not cover any postage costs to send the goods back.

 

The sooner we are notified of a change of mind or problem with the received goods, the sooner we can resolve the issue and advise return details.
