Title:Java

Description:This is a 1942 East Asia Geographical Society map of Java. Depicting the entirety of the island, this map was produced in a limited edition of 3,000 examples. Myriad locations throughout the island, including cities, towns, and villages. Java's topography is illustrated by contour lines and shading. Numerous inset maps along both top and bottom margin display different aspects of the island. Four inset maps in the lower left corner depict cities. This map was compiled by the South Asia Bureau Foreign Ministry and issued by the East Asia Geographical Society on September 2, 1942.
