Pair of Murano Blown Glass Champagne Flutes
A Unique Pair for a Wedding Toast!
These wonderful hand blown glass Murano champagne flutes measure 9" tall with slightly flared rims trimmed in gold.
Though unsigned, the quality, style and profile indicate they were produced by the Salviati Moretti studio. I have seen these exact flutes, without the etching, at 2Modern and similar upscale websites for $165+ each.
The gracefully tapered bodies sit on swirled globes with gold flake inclusions.
These are attached to bell-shaped bases with ringed knobs.
The upper section of the flutes are exquisitely etched with a flute-playing putti seated on a crescent moon surrounded by tiny stars.
I have never seen this pattern before; it is masterfully executed and just beautiful.
A perfect pair, for a shower gift, wedding or special anniversary.
