RARE Vintage Timex Orange Stripe Diver Dial 27671 10578 Men’s Mechanical Watch

This is a project watch BUT we’ll worth investing in! This is a very rare model, I’ve found very few examples of it. Usually in the $400-$500 range.

As you can see in the photos, it is missing the diver bezel. In the photos I show a measurement of 34.5mm for where the bezel would sit in place. Aftermarket bezels are available for sale on eBay.

The balance wheel does not have any resistance. You will likely need another mechanism which can be found on a non diver Timex watch from the same era.

The case back does not appear to be original as it says, “automatic” on the back. However, it does snap into place nicely.
