A Beautiful, Late 1800s, Burmese Silver, (tested 830), Thabeik Bowl.

The bowl has been deeply hand repousse decorated with traditional images of mythical animals, and birds against a background of foliage, and is marked to the base.

The shape is based on a monks alms or begging bowl.

The condition of this piece shows signs of minor light age and use related wear, as may be expected from a piece of over 100 years old, however, this does not detract in any way from the beauty of the item.

Please study the photos as they form part of the description.
