Vintage framed book cover (COVER ONLY, NOT BOOK) dated 1895.  It's a beautful decorated cloth hard cover in an old wood frame.  The picture doesn't capture the rich gold-brown tone very well, but it does appear some of the colors have faded with time.  Still a really attractive piece, with a little history.

The outside of the frame measures 7-7/8" x 10-1/2" (not including the crown on top).  Apparently the back of the frame had a cover on it that was removed to display the information on the rear sheet that is attached to the back of the book cover.
