6 Rotaries (4 right hand, 2 left hand)
Gold brass specification
With nickel trim (Bellcrantz)
This is a German Miraphone F tuba.
The shank is slightly thinner than modern instruments (equivalent to an S shank in Perantucci terms).
A regular mouthpiece can also be used, and I used a regular one.
In February, I started fitting the removable tubes, and had the soldered parts and other parts adjusted as much as possible (I had a technician from a famous manufacturer who is at the level that professional players request this). The difficult parts of the pitch and the unevenness of the range have been dramatically improved.
I bought a new Miraphone genuine case at the beginning of March, but have not taken it outside since then.
It has signs of use overall, with a few small dents, scratches, peeling lacquer, etc. It does not interfere with playing.
It is not the latest model like a modern Electra or Firebird, but I still think that the low range sounds good.
I think it is recommended for those who want to learn about traditional rotary F tubes.
We can also accommodate trial play requests, so please feel free to leave a comment.
