About the author Hideyuki Takano
Born in 1972 in Yokohama. A disciple of Makoto Nakahara, the 16th master. Japan Shogi Federation 6th Dan. He presides over the "Kyodo Children's Shogi Classroom" and teaches children how to play shogi. He is also in charge of courses on shogi at Meiji University and Kokugakuin University. His publications include “Shogi Thoughts” (Wani Plus), which stretches children steadily.
