Spine cover is  missing exposing Railway Magazine  Recycled . The text is in Very Good condition. The short Foreword to the book states:"From the outbreak of the Great War, Mr. Frank Potter, in his capacity as General Manager, made to the Board of Directors a series of repors, which became known as 'The War Reports.' In them he recorded stage by stage the part taken by the Company and their employees, and those reports form a comprehensive War History of the Great Western Railway." The book opens with a letter from the War Office stating the Railway has been taken over by the Government under the Provisions of the Regulation of the Forces Act of 1871.
