Folder and contents were published by NASA in June, 2002. It was part of the "Space Research and You" program as an introduction to the media for the STS-107 mission.  The folder contains a stapled 4-page brochure describing the experiment selection process which was sponsored by the Office of Biological and Physical Research (OBPR). In a pocket are two pages on photo paper which describe the crew. The first photo page is signed by Rick Husband, the ship's commander, in print. He apparently signed one copy which was duplicated on photo paper. 33 loose insert sheets follow. They are printed in color on both sides and describe many of the 80 selected experiments of the mission. The folder size is 9 1/4" x 11 3/4". Insert sheet size is 8 1/2" x 11". Folder is Near Fine with minor wear. The inserts are Fine.

The STS-107 mission was a 17-day microgravity and earth science research mission that launched on January 16, 2003, on the Space Shuttle Orbiter, Columbia. The mission's goal was to conduct space station research in a variety of disciplines, including biology, medicine, materials science, physics, and technology development. The mission also included the delivery of new parts for the International Space Station. However, the Columbia orbiter failed catastrophically during reentry into the atmosphere on February 1, 2003, and the orbiter and its seven crew members were lost.

"Space Research and You" was a series of shows from the Space Science Institute that focused on human space flight. NASA also had a "Space Research and You" program that included museum presentations and the STS-107 research mission.
