1980's Vintage Lyman .224" Micrometer Seating Die M.S.3A in very good to excellent condition as shown. I believe this will also work on .222 Remington, .223 Remington and other .22 caliber centerfire cartridges as long as the cartridge case diameter does not exceed that of the .223 Remington. The sliding sleeve in the die body is stamped '22 C' and will accept cartridge case necks with an OD up to .253" and .224" projectiles. The following information was obtained on the internet after doing a Google search.

"It is a bullet seater, with micrometer depth adjustment. The die is marked like a regular micrometer, each division on the top part is .001”, one full turn is .025”. The next part of the die (barrel or sleeve in micrometer terminology) has markings representing .100”, .050”, and .025”. No lock ring is needed, there is a spring detent which locks the top part. As you turn it, you feel a ‘click’ and each click is .001” of adjustment. In the bottom of the die is a sliding sleeve which guides the bullet and case neck for concentric in-line seating."
