Vintage early 1960s Designer Jonathan Logan Ladies Silver Lame tinsel pantsuit. Very mod and trippy with Eastern Indian look of the time with a long tunic jacket style top with Nehru collar and rhinestone buttons. Similar in style to clothing worn by John Lennon. This was my mother’s outfit - she was a bit of a stylish jet setter in the day! The pants have a hidden zipper in the back and are very wide legged. No size tag - Waist is about 26”, the jacket drops 34.50” from the nape of the neck to the hem; It is 15” across the shoulders at the back. For reference, the manikin is 5’ 9” with a 15” shoulder, 33” chest, 25” waist and 35” hips. The outfit is a bit loose on the manikin, maybe accommodating a few more inches in the bust line and hips. My mother was 5’4” and the pant length was fine, most likely with heels. She may have worn this once or twice and then I wore it once as a Halloween costume. It’s been in closets ever since then. It is old and the fabric is becoming brittle. The fabric literally is tinsel woven together on a synthetic fabric. The seams are starting to separate at the armpit (hole there) and down the back of the jacket in several places. There is a a stain visible on the inside and 2 other holes from the fraying fabric. The buttons are rhinestones and all are there but the thread is loose. Please see photos.
