The 1913-S needs no introduction to series specialists! One of the big 3 key date Barber quarters, the 1913-S boasts the lowest mintage of any 20th century silver coin issue. Just 40,000 coins were struck and very few are preserved in high grades. One of the pillars of Helen's Quarter Collection, PCGS has graded only six examples finer than this high-end gem specimen. Well-struck with sharp definition throughout the surfaces are silky smooth with only a few minor ticks on Liberty's neck precluding an even finer grade. Pearly champagne iridescence dominates with deeper russet and charcoal tints concentrated at the rims. The overall eye appeal is absolutely stunning! This is sure to be a prized addition to another fine cabinet. - Barber Quarter
