1920’s Antique Copper Silver & Wooden Chess Board In Very Old Frame 48cm 4kgs

Very unique chess board, with following features;

Highly decorative designed pressed copper inlaid pieces

Silver metal board border

Antique wooden frame

48 x 48cm overall size

Heavy Almost 4kgs in weight

Glass front

When I bought the chess board the gentleman told me that the chess board and frame are the same age although he stated that the board on the back was changed at some stage due to deterioration of the original backing, so a different backing board added to protect the item, that’s what he was told from the person he purchased it from years before. So I know the board has changed hands a few times.

Very lovely unique item, to add your own modern or antique chess pieces too. Board comes as photos with no pieces just what you see.
