Retractable Chain Brooch Pocket Watch/Eye Glass Holder

This is a lovely retractable chain eyeglass brooch or pin.  
It's in fabulous condition, and the 38.5cm retractable chain works well. 
Could you pull the chain to the desired length? To retract it, push the button from the front.
The piece is marked Hougtons with Patent No.4106/1905.
