Remember how much fun it was to get into your mom’s
makeup ~ until she caught you?This
little old-fashioned compact reminds me of those times.
This outstanding little compact is from the 1940’s and it
has the original enamel mostly intact. The tiny mirror is not glass so no
need to worry about breakage; I believe that is just a piece of very shiny
metal.
The
compact is marked sterling, measures 1/2” long, and the patina is simply grand!
