This cap serves as a replacement for your existing coolant recovery tank cap, ensuring a proper fit. It is essential for maintaining the cooling system's integrity, preventing coolant leaks, and maintaining proper pressure levels. This OEM cap is designed to meet the manufacturer's standards for performance and reliability.
Installation Instructions:
- Tools Needed: None
- Locate the engine coolant recovery tank in your vehicle.
- Carefully remove the old coolant recovery tank cap by twisting it counterclockwise.
- Inspect the seal on the new OEM cap to ensure it's in good condition.
- Align the new cap with the opening on the coolant recovery tank.
- Press down firmly and twist it clockwise to secure it in place.
- Ensure the cap is tightly sealed.
- Job Time: Approximately 2-5 minutes
