1920 Russian Ukranian Antique Book RARE Illustrated Naya Jungle.
Amazing item really, and that it has survived all these years.
The pages are beginning to separate from the binding, we have handled with great care since we came across it, but please look at the images to see how fragile this is, and the wear.
Naja iz Dzhunglei: Razskazy is a book written by Gasenko G, published in Berlin in 1922, written in Russian or Ukrainian, and it is an antique, hardcover and illustrated in color. It has 71 pages.
It is a children's book, and its original edition is elegantly illustrated.
It's not clear what the story is about but the title "Naja iz Dzhunglei" could be translated to "snake from the jungle" in English.
Happy to answer any questions best we can about it, the artwork on the illustrated pages is particularly fine, and would make great framed prints if someone wanted to go that route...
