Trattasi di una penna stilografica dell'Aurora, e precisamente la famosa Hastil, disegnata negli anni '70 da marco Zanuso, e che, per la sua di allora modernità, è stata messa permanentemente in mostra al MOMA, il museo d'arte moderna di New York.
Questo esemplare è in eccellente stato d'uso, davvero molto molto ben conservato, ed è anche il modello più economico ai tempi, quello in acciaio, chiamato dall'Aurora stessa "Ecosteel", oggigiorno molto appetibile, per certi versi più ricercata dei modelli in lacca, in argento, laminati in oro o vermeil, un oggetto modernista, assolutamente minimalista, una penna di ''impatto'' straordinario.
La semplicità del design di questo oggetto è proverbiale, la definirei ''essenziale'', ed ancora oggi non potrebbe essere più moderna.

La lavorazione è come già detto in acciaio liscio e lucido, classica ed elegante insieme.

La lunghezza è di 138mm.
Esteticamente molto bella e sanissima, davvero pochissimo usata e ben conservata, ha riposato per 30 anni in una bella collezione.....ovviamente garantita funzionante perfettamente
Questo modello aveva al tempo della produzione un prezzo al pubblico di ben 120.000 lire, una cifra elevatissima per l'epoca, che rende edotti delle caratteristiche di ''lusso'' dell'oggetto.
This is an Aurora fountain pen, namely the famous Hastil, designed in the 1970s by Marco Zanuso, and which, due to its then modernity, has been put on permanent display at MOMA, the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
This specimen is in excellent state of use, very well preserved indeed, and is also the cheapest model at the time, the steel one, called by Aurora itself 'Ecosteel', nowadays very desirable, in some ways more sought-after than the lacquer, silver, gold-laminated or vermeil models, a modernist object, absolutely minimalist, a pen of extraordinary 'impact'.
The simplicity of the design of this object is proverbial, I would call it 'essential', and even today it could not be more modern.
