You are buying one increment (1 FQ) of Fern Leaves Green from the Plantation circa 1800's collection designed by Ro Gregg for Northcott. There are fern leaves of multiple sizes tossed on an almost olive green background, which creates a tone-on-tone fabric. The designs for these fabrics were based on vintage fabrics from the 1800's. The photos included are actual scans of the fabrics; some of them include a ruler at the bottom and or side that show the size of the designs relative to the square of fabric shown. One photo shows a section of a Double Wedding Ring quilt that was made for a family member using these fabrics. The last three photos show the 37 fabrics we had in stock from the Plantation collection at the time this listing was created. The only fabric you are buying though is the one shown in first several photos up to the one that shows the selvage.The pictures really don't do the fabric justice. It is much more beautiful than a picture can show. We are sure you can agree.
This fabric is priced by the single 1/4 yard increment, so you can choose the amount that is right for you from the quantity available.

What is a FQ?
It is 1/4 yard of fabric, but it is cut off the bolt differently than the standard 1/4 yard of fabric. It is cut off the bolt at the 1/2 yard length; then it is cut in half by the width the fabric. This means that the piece of fabric measures 18 x 21-22 inches. It is "fat" instead of "skinny" like the regular 1/4 yard, which measures 9 x 43-44 inches. To change your purchase to a regular skinny 1/4 yard: please add a comment to your payment or send us a message thru eBay's "My Messages" system. Whether your one increment is a FQ or a regular 1/4 yard it doesn't effect the price; they are both the same.
