Sylvac Jug – No. 2899 – John F Kennedy, 1960s
A good example of a 6¼” high Jug / Toby Jug in the shape of the head of John F Kennedy. The base has his name in blue, like a signature. Stamped into the base, under the glaze, there is the number 2899 and the words Sylvan Made in England. It is lovely clean condition with no cracks or chips anywhere. Looking with a magnifying glass I can just see the very faintest crazing to the glaze. I cannot see this without the magnifying glass.
