This picture features  The Black Country Living Museum near Dudley. The Black Country area is situated within the current West Midlands area of England and was the beating heart of the industrial revolution.




Ken was born in Ironbridge Shropshire in 1945. Even at an early age he became aware of the dramatic industrial lanscape of The Blackcountry and it's hard working people. Ken spent most of his working life in engineering and took early retirement in order to pursue his desire to paint and capture Black Country life.
