The Radio does work but the power button is damage.  Read below for more information.

I did open the radio and managed to get accessories to the underlying switch beneath the damaged button on the surface.  Using this button I did manage to power on and power of the radio.  Besides the damaged button the radio does work.  It maybe possible to 3D print  a power button or use one from another radio.  The the photos I have circled (in red) the underlying switch that is using to power on and power off the radio.
