Description - Delightful turn of the 19th century George III solid silver snuff box of oval form with hinged lid and thumb piece

all sides are embellished with reeded decoration

rich silver-gilt (gold washed) interior.

Fully hallmarked with leopards head crowned for London assay, lion passant indicating 925 grade solid silver, King's head, date letter "E" for the year 1800 and the maker's mark "GL" which is George Longstaff.

Condition - There is a split to the rear of the base (repairable, please inspect end photographs), the hinge is in good order closing the lid securely

interior gilt is nice and bright
