Description - Delightful early 19th century George III solid silver snuff box of rectangular curved form with canted corners, hinged lid and foliate thumb piece

lid has engraved name "R B Gregory 1809"

rich silver-gilt (gold washed) interior.

Fully hallmarked with anchor for Birmingham assay, lion passant indicating 925 grade solid silver, King's head, date letter "i" for the year 1806 and the maker's mark "W & K" which is Wardell & Kempson.

Condition - Generally good condition, some minor bruising to the underside

hinge is good with a bit of looseness, closes the lid securely

interior silver-gilt is rich and bright.
