Up for auction is this great Aynsley (England) vintage cup and saucer.  The full sized set is highlighted by the pink/red and white roses on green leafy and thorny stems on the 2 exteriors sides of the cup.  The interior of the cup and the whole saucer have a light green background (it is darker and more pronounced than the pictures suggest...it was quite a sunny day when I took the pictures and this made the green color look lighter that it actually is!),  The cup edges, handle and foot, as well as the saucer edges, are  trimmed in gold.  The cup measures about 4 1/2 inches wide (including handle) and 2 7/8  inches high.  The saucer measures about 5 3/8 inches in diameter.  Fully marked on the bottoms of both pieces.   In excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing.  Very minor wear to gold trim (this is extremely minor and only mentioned for complete accuracy!).  Colors are clear and bright.  A great piece in nice shape offered with NO RESERVE!!
