Vintage Grommes 50PG 6V6 Mono Tube Integrated Amplifier for Repair

Amplifier offers line level and phono inputs.

Amplifier is offered for repair. The bass and treble control shafts are stuck, likely with old grease / oil, do not turn. Amplifier was unused for many years. It was powered on using a Variac. Amplifier plays, but the sound quality is not the best. There is a bit of hum in the output. One of the electrolytic capacitor cans got warm. Some of the installed tubes tested low. The insulation on the power cord is cracking.

Offered as-is, no guarantee of functionality. Will likely need new capacitors and other service before use.

This amplifier was designed for installation in a built-in / custom cabinet. The face plate does not sit flush with the chassis.

One of the knobs is chipped. The bottom cover is rusty. Paint on the chassis has some scratches and marks.
