This auction is for a unique 1777 evasion half penny, a rare collectors item in their own right with many known varieties however I believe this one to be unique.

It contains the Headless Britania reverse with legend "Britan rules" and the observe shows a bust of the young George 2nd, not the usually seen bust of George 4th and legend stating "god save the king' (a bit ironic given George 2nd had been dead for 17 years at the time).

A must have for any collectors of tokens, evasion pennies or general coin collectors.
