Description - Delightful late 19th century Victorian solid silver card case of rectangular serpentine form with hinged lid

both sides embellished with crisp bright cut hand engraved scroll foliate and leaf decoration and with a vacant cartouche

silver-gilt (gold washed) interior

come's presented in it's black leather bound hinged case with blue silk and dark blue velvet interior lining.

Fully hallmarked with the anchor for Birmingham assay, lion passant indicating 925 grade solid sterling silver, date letter "s" for the year 1892, the maker's mark "H & T" which is Hilliard & Thomason.

Condition - In very good condition, no dents, splits, holes, repairs.  There is a small ding to the bottom left corner (please inspect end photograph)

engraved decoration is crisp and clear, hinge is tight and secure, gilt nice and bright and the case/ box is in excellent order.
