History of The Pattern Inspired by a thistle, this exquisitely crafted and meticulously
detailed service was created for the 1909 Exposition de Nancy, the apex
of the Art Nouveau movement. Balancing crisp styling with richness of
design, the clarity of crystal with the warmth of gold, this pattern is a
true classic.
The
service incorporates its heritage through its name and the plant motif
of its engraved frieze decorated in 24K gold. Since then, it has shone
on the finest tables.
