This battery powered pruning device is perfect for large pruning or small pruning jobs. I used it in the vineyards for a season and I've also used it for small jobs around the house. In the vineyards, it was used on a small and large vines. At home, it's been used on olive trees and other medium size trees.
The optical trigger amazing and extremely responsive, making it easy to tackle small volunteer growth, up to large branches on trees. The trigger is designed to work really well with safety gloves. The sheers are easy to use in either right or left hands. The sheers are designed to fit all hand sizes.
The sheers are easy to maintain and do not require tools to change out the blades. I was able to get a full day's work in the vineyards without having to charge during the day. Generally I was in the vineyards 8-9 hours a day.
The Pellenc company was very easy to work with, and ordering their OEM parts is easy. Their website has tutorial videos and recommendations on use. I've called them a few times to have questions answered. Pellenc sheers are very well built.
