This is a wonderful set of 6 brass butterfly napkin rings that I found in a local antique store. I have tried to research their background, as I have seen the napkin rings before but never in a presentation box like this. I believe the napkins rings are OCI Omnibus( a division of Fitz and Floyd) brass from the 1980s. There are no markings. I cannot determine if the box is original to the set, although it certainly appears to be. The brass has somewhat discolored the fabric underneath the place each napkin ring sits, so they have been in there for quite a while for that to happen. The box is in very good condition, a little tarnishing of the hardware and some fading of the gold on top, but overall very good for it's age. Measures 9 1/2" x5" and approx 2 3/4" tall. I am leaving the napkin rings with their current patina as I know many people appreciate the aging process of the brass and don't want it polished and cleaned. Please examine the photos closely as they are part of the description.
