Genuine Art Deco original Ceiling Light.

A Linear Twin Brass Sconce with two glass Slip-Shades with cut Sunburst designs.

Beautifully designed and cast, with detailed intricate design and stunning lighting effect used in grand buildings and cinemas.

The brass sconce has a thin timber backplate cut to fit its outline, with a cross-piece for mounting. This can be removed for a flush-mount.

An identical piece was marked underneath Chadwick Carroll, Hamilton Ontario - this piece could also be marked under the base plate.

Measures 40cm total length, 25cm wide,  approximately 15.5cm to tip.

The slip-shades are 16cm long, 10cm wide and 7cm high. 

Total weight 2.56kg.

Condition: overall in very good original but unwired condition. The wiring has been removed, it is currently fitted with screw-bulb fittings. One of the slip-shades is chipped at the edge but remains secure in its fitting and the damage is hidden. Please see the images as part of the condition description.
