Lily" by Maggie and Tony Iacono was created for the May 2-5, 2024 UFDC Region 12 Conference in Cleveland, Ohio.

Blonde haired "Lily" was the souvenir doll for the dinner meal event "In Monet's Garden" inspired by the theme of Monet, Impessionism, and the world-renowned Cleveland Art Museum.

"Lily" is a 12" pressed wool felt doll that is poseable, using her own unique ball jointing system. The head is completely moveable up and down and turning side to side, enabling the doll to cast her glance in several directions. Each finger is wired, which enables the doll to be manipulated in just the right way or hold an accessory. The elbows and shoulders allow the doll to reach out. Hips are jointed for sitting. Knees and ankles are not jointed.

The hand painting on Lily is exquisite and the artists are quite pleased with her.  The felt costuming is beautiful and reminiscent of Monet's luminescent paintings of water lilies in his own pond.   Lily wears a hand painted smock of pale green and pink lilies, with pockets containing her paintbrushes.

Each little blonde-haired Lily doll was crafted by hand, in the United States, in a small limited edition of 75. Maggie's dolls are truly unique and valued by customers around the world.

There are three dolls for sale and they are numbered  B, C, and E in their photos.
