Seymour Solar Hyperion Solar Film Telescope Filter.
Cell inner diameter is 2" (50mm), and will fit optical tube diamters from 1 5/8" (41mm) to 1 /78" (47mm).
Filter was rarely used and is in excellent condition. Includes original box and instrctions.
Filter cell is currently fitted with 3 mm adhesive felt to allow it to fit on an Svbony 30mm guidescope. Felt can be removed and replaced with thinner felt liner to fit over slightly larger optical tubes.

This premium solar filter is safe to photograph or view the sun when mounted on a telescope, view finder, spotting scope, etc. It is rated ND5 so 99.999% of the sunlight is blocked. The aperture is made of a high quality, reflective coated, Hyperion Solar Film, and mounted into an aluminum outer cell. The filter slips over the sky end of your optical tube. It is secured and centered to the optical tube with thumb screw(s) and felt tabs.
