The 2014 National Baseball Hall of Fame Commemorative Coin Uncirculated Half Dollar from the U.S. Mint celebrates the 75th anniversary of the National Baseball Hall of Fame and is part of the first curved coin program ever produced by the U.S. Mint. - Chosen after a nationwide competition, the design on the obverse (heads) is inspired by a well-loved and used baseball glove and inscribed with “LIBERTY,” “IN GOD WE TRUST” and “2014.” - The reverse (tails) depicts a baseball similar to those used by Major League Baseball. - Inscriptions are “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” “E PLURIBUS UNUM” and “ONE DOLLAR.”

The encapsulation protects and guarantees the condition of the coin.
