Preamp has 2-12AX7's. Controls consist of a Volume, Bass, Treble, Selector, and Balance.

Unit worked well when tested. It would need the usual mods if using with any other amp but the 

original HS-838A . Cosmetically, nice and clean with only lite normal wear mostly due to age.
