Harmon, whose nickname was “Killer”, played for the Washington Senators 1954-60, Minnesota Twins 1961-74 and Kansas City Royals 1975. Harmon was named to 11 All-Star teams, led all AL hitters in HR’s 6x, and in RBI’s 3x, once hit 3 HR’s in a game, hit 573 career HR’s, was a member of the 1965 American League Champion Minnesota Twins and was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1984.
